Easter Day

We went to church at Bellevue on Easter Day. Afterwards we went to Gigi and Papa Hop's for lunch. Meem and Pap came too.

Decorating Easter Eggs!

 Sadie decorating Easter eggs. I tried some thing new this year. I used Koolaid instead of Easter Egg Dye. It smelled good and did a a good job dying the eggs. I wish I would have had more colors!

 Kenzie researched bible verses on the Resurrection of Jesus. She wanted to right bible verses on the eggs.

Makenzie's 10th birthday

I set up an area where the girls cold decorate aprons. This was the first thing they did when they got to the party.

We ordered plain cakes from Kroger for the girls to decorate. I got different types of gels from Hobby Lobby.

Why all girls want to do a crazy picture is beyond me!

Garner and Sadie wanted to decorate something too! They got old white t-shirts.

I made homemade fondant out of marshmallows, confectioner's sugar, and food coloring. Each girl got their own fondant to roll out and use on their cakes.

We celebrated Kenzie's 10th birthday party. It was a Cake Boss party. We decorated aprons, decorated cakes, and ate pizza and cake. Good times!
